SIGMAnet seeks a Senior Security Engineer to join its award-winning Advanced Infrastructure team. The perfect candidate must have the ability to design, and deliver complex security and infrastructure solutions and have experience in large enterprise environments.  A Cisco CCIE certification is preferred but not required.

Southern California

Required Skills:

• 6+​ years of professional experience in the networking field
• One or more of the following industry recognized certifications (or equivalent experience)
  • Cisco CCIE (R/​S,  Security)  *Optional
  • CCSP, CCNP, CCIP, or CCDP
• Expertise in at least one of the following areas:
  • Enterprise Infrastructure
  • Data Center Network Architectures and Design
• Strong Analytic and Reasoning Skills
• Strong hands on experience with Cisco infrastructure and security products

• Ability to take initiative and provide technical leadership throughout project duration

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Cisco MARS, CSA and NAC a plus

General Experience:

• Experience in a consulting role supporting customers on-site and off-site
• Willingness to travel and work at customer sites
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Visio and Office Suite
• Strong Communication Skills
• Strong analysis and reasoning skills
• Ability to be a member of a team and take direction from others
