Senior Servo Systems Engineer (Control System) (mechatronics)
Responsibilities
This mechatronic / servo system engineer position will provide the opportunity to work with a broad spectrum of precision mechanism technologies on various mechatronics subsystems used in high-end semiconductor inspection machines. A key responsibility will be driving development of next-generation auto-focus systems, which will provide the opportunity to work with engineers in multiple disciplines, including optics, software, precision mechanical design and electronics.
Experience with semiconductor capital equipment development is beneficial.
Strong servomechanism design / analysis / synthesis experience is strongly preferred.
Familiarity with precision mechanical design and design and analysis for control/structure interaction is preferred.
Familiarity with optics and autofocus systems is a plus.
Drive development of next generation autofocus systems (60%). Colllaborate on development of other subsystems (precision XY stages, beam stabilizer systems, active isolation, optomechanical mechanisms). (40%)
Strong aptitude / experience with precision mechatronic subsystem development.
This position will provide exposure to multiple precision mechatronic techonologies--state of the art autofocus systems, and precision servo mechanisms employing a wide variety of actuation and sensing technologies in the context of extremely complex semiconductor inspection machines.
Strong communication skills.
Education:
Bachelor's Level Degree with at least 7 years of experience.
OR
Master's Level Degree with at least 6 years of experience.
OR
Doctorate (Academic) with at least 5 years of experience.
