About the Job:
Verivo Software is looking for a Senior Software Engineer that is passionate about APIs and mobile technologies. You will work with our world-class product development team to ensure that Verivo’s mobility platform delights developers and exceeds the demands of enterprise-grade mobility.
Key Responsibilities:
- The Senior Software Engineer will
- Design and build our next generation platform API sets
- Partner with Scrum team members to deliver product increments in an iterative fashion
- Mentor team members on API design and implementation
- Collaborate with Product Owners to establish clear User Stories in the context of Verivo’s API sets
- Implement automated unit and integration tests in parallel with advancing our core platform
What You'll Need To Succeed:
- BS or MS in Computer Science, or similar technical education
- 4+ years of hands-on software engineering experience building applications using C# or Java; strong OO design and development skills required
- 2+ years of platform API design and implementation experience
- 2+ years of hands-on development experience with data integration technologies including REST, SOAP, HTTP, JSON, and XML
- Excellent object model, data structure and algorithm design skills
- Successful completion of a public API deployed in production
- Strong SQL skills with leading RDBMS platforms (e.g., Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL)
- Experience with and passion for mobile applications is a plus
- Courage to fail fast, recover, and to ultimately deliver
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
