SnagAJob.com is seeking a highly technical and team-oriented Senior Software Engineering Manager to develop the technology that powers one of the largest and fastest growing job sites in the country. The ideal candidate for this leadership role is energetic, self-motivated, hands-on, and enjoys driving exciting technical projects in an entrepreneurial environment. Proven track record of success and a passion for delivering high-quality and large scale web applications on aggressive schedules are crucial.

Responsibilities
•Collaborate with Product Managers and the business team to generate and fully define innovative new product features to better serve millions of users.
•Provide accurate scoping and estimation of development efforts for large projects based on product requirements and a solid grasp of the relevant technologies.
•Lead development efforts of large size teams to turn ideas into reality.
•Motivate and mentor senior level developers.
•Build strong relationships with departmental leaders throughout the company, and contribute to leadership discussions.

Qualifications
•MS in Computer Science or equivalent.
•8+ years experience developing large scale and multi-tiered web applications, 5+ in a management/leadership capacity.
•5+ years hands-on experience in object oriented development using ASP.NET, C# and related software development tools.
•Broad knowledge of distributed system technologies, techniques and future trends.
•In depth knowledge in one or more of following fields: Databases/Networking/OS/Web Services/Internet Communications
•Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills, with strong interest in tackling diverse technical problems.
•Thorough understanding of the software development life cycle, and ability to adjust in a fast-paced environment. Agile experience is a plus.
•Entrepreneurial drive, strategic thinker, and a demonstrated ability to deliver products on time.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
