Senior Software Tester/QA Analyst

This position will perform both manual and automated testing utiilizing HP's Quality Center, Quick TestPro, and Load Runner tools on multiple web-based applications. This role will analyze business and tecyhnical documents, generate manual and automated test cases, assess and prioritize quality risks, estimate testing efforts, and ensure system requirements and use cases are mapped to test plans and test cases.This individual will develop the overall testing strategy for a given work effort based ona key business need, current functionality, and technial capabilities of appliceations. Additionally, s/he will generate test plans and test cases; conduct integration, regression, land and system testing; and identify and document defects. Communicating test results effectively to project leads and development team members will be key. This position will assume a key role in testing development modernization and enhancement projects under tight deadlines.

To be considered, candidates must have the following skills:

Testing Tools: Hp’s Quick Test Pro 9.2 or above, Quality Center(9.2 or above),
LoadRunner, soapUI
Tools: PVCS Tracker, Visio, Microsoft Project, PVCS VM, Microsoft Office, SQL
Advantage.
Languages: SQL, Javascript
Methodology: UML, SDLC(waterfall, Agile), CMM, CMMI, ISO
Network Protocols: TCP/IP, SMTP, HTTP, SSL
Browsers: IE, Netscape, Firefox

Desired skills (strong familiarity with one or more) include:

Section 508: Jaw’s screen reader
Internet Languages: JAVASCRIPT
Languages: C, C++, Javascript
RDBMS: Sybase, Oracle
Internet Languages: HTML, VBSCRIPT, XML
Operating Systems: UNIX (Sun Solaris 2.x), Windows XP
