Large privately held company with global operations is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team.  The company has beautiful offices, outstanding culture, and a very stable work environment that provides a good “work/life balance.” 

 Requirements:

-          BS Accounting or equivalent.

-          4+ years of accounting experience; public accounting helpful.

-          Strong financial reporting skills.

-          Proficient with Excel (pivot tables and look ups); familiar with Access.

-          Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting practices.

-          Experience working with external auditors.

Duties:

-          Prepare monthly financial statements.

-          Heavy emphasis on P&L and Balance Sheet analysis.

-          Interface with A/R, A/P, and G/L departments.

-          Some light cost accounting and fixed asset accounting duties.

-          Prepare quarterly financial reports for management including variance analysis and discussion of variances.

-          General knowledge of pre-paid and accruals along with fixed asset experience.

-          Research complex accounting issues to make sure the company is GAAP compliant.
