Uline, a leading international distributor of packaging & industrial supplies, seeks a Senior Staff Accountant for their Accounting / Finance Office in Gurnee, Illinois (south of Milwaukee, Wisconsin).
Corporate Office is moving to Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin (Kenosha County) - Summer, 2010.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES / REQUIREMENTS:

Prepare monthly financial analysis reports, journal entries & year-end audit schedules

Perform month-end close, monthly account reconciliations & prepare financial statements

Ensure all company financial transactions are properly recorded

Analyze financial information to summarize & interpret current / projected company financial position for management

Monitor compliance with generally accepted accounting principles & company procedures

Evaluate significant changes in income & expense account categories for business units located throughout the US

Aid in supervising entry-level Accountants and Interns

5+ years prior Accounting experience

Advanced knowledge of Excel / Access

Strong verbal & written communication skills

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required - CPA preferred
