Project Manager

LK Jordan is searching for a project manager at an oil refinery developing and executing capital projects.

This individual will be responsible to develop preliminary budgets, manage teams of engineers and designers to complete designs, work with equipment vendors to order and expedite equipment, work with procurement to order equipment and hire contractors, participate in equipment checkouts and to coordinate with contractors during installation. This individual will aslo direct and manage the activities and execution of projects.

Ideal candidate will have :

Experience in managing projects in petroleum refining or petrochemical plants.

Education: BS Engineering is required

Certifications / Licenses: PE is preferred but not required

Research skills, analytical and creative problem solving skills, questioning and feedback skills, project and time management skills.

Ability to clearly communicate information and ideas verbally and in writing.

Seven to ten years experience minimum of working in a large cap project environment ($5 -- $35MM projects)

Effective communication between other Project groups.

Interfacing with Operations groups to define best installation options.

Experience in the engineering / construction of larger tank farm / terminal projects a plus
