Responsibilities
(Job Description): Performs system-engineering functions primarily with respect to computer functional allocations, development of code, software development, hardware development, and reliability, maintainability, and availability (RMA). Also provides expertise in state-of-the-art, real-time automation hardware design and development as well as state-of-the-art real-time automation software design and development and their interface with computer hardware systems. Provide Lotus/Domino development and administration expertise for managing and maintaining critical FAA applications. The Domino Engineer shall work with cutting edge technologies to design, develop, analyze, and execute technical solutions in support of customer architectural and engineering development requirements. Domino Engineer would require hands-on experience in Domino web-based application design, hosting, and configuration. Experience with Single-Sign-On (SSO) architectures - (Domino or LTPA) is a plus. Experience with Domino Database Replication is required. Manage Lotus Domino application environments, including architecture, design, installation, configuration, security, capacity planning, and disaster recovery. Install, configure, & manage Domino cluster environment to support web-enabled Domino applications. Provide technical direction and consulting support for messaging design and integration. Architect, design, and implement messaging solutions for web and desktop client users. Provide service that identifies and recommends risk management strategies for production environments.

Qualifications: Successful completion of a post secondary school curriculum leading to a bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline or a vocational or technical school certificate indicating that post secondary school education and training in the Computer Systems Engineering career field has been completed. A minimum of ten years experience within the Computer Systems Engineering career field is required with at least two years experience as a project manager or team leader on some form of system analysis project for enterprise-level implementation or major hardware or software design and development program. Requires hands-on experience in Domino web-based application design, hosting, and configuration. Experience with Single-Sign-On (SSO) architectures - (Domino or LTPA) is a plus. Experience with Domino Database Replication is required. Must have: strong problem solving skills with experience to support performance tuning & configuration issues; excellent organizational skills and attention to detail; strong written and oral communication skills; must be independent and require no supervision; must have some project lead experience. Requires sound knowledge of SDLC's. Also requires senior knowledge and hands-on experience with Domino Administration.
