Senior Statistical Programmer - Contract

Description:



The Sr. Statistical Programmer will provide statistical programming support for the statisticians and statistical programming expertise for the company. The Sr. Statistical Programmer will write programs to create statistical tables, listings, and graphs, independently QC peer programmers’ statistical tables, listings, and graphs, and write programs to create the analysis database. The Sr. Statistical Programmer will also meet milestones as assigned while providing functional guidance and support to other Statistical Programmers. The Sr. Statistical Programmer may assist in developing and revising core operating procedures and working instructions. The Sr. Statistical Programmer must understand and comply with company policies, core operating procedures, and working instructions. The Sr. Statistical Programmer will perform other duties as directed by the Manager of Statistical Programming.



Qualifications:



Eligible candidates must have 6 years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree (preference in statistics or math degree) or 7-8 years of relevant experience. Candidates must also possess excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills comnbined with the ability to exercise excellent attention to detail. Excellent computer skills required. An above average knowledge of Base SAS® and SAS®/STAT are required. The ability to act with the initiative required to resolve complex problems and a solid understanding of the clinical drug development process are required.
