Senior Statistical Programmer
About the Job
Prestige Scientific has recently identified an outstanding opportunity for a Senior level SAS Programmer. The role is with a tremendously undervalued, but growing pharmaceutical client in the Heart of Pharm Country, NJ.
The SAS Programmer is responsible for all SAS programming tasks of individual clinical trials.
Scope of Responsibilities:
1. Generate tables, listings, and graphs per protocol, Statistical Analysis Plan, and/or approved client request.
2. Assist on the creation of SAS data sets using CDISC standards.
3. Program crosschecks of other programmer’s work, including tables, listings, graphs and data sets.
4. Program data cleaning checks, as necessary, to facilitate Data Management's data cleaning activities.
5. Participate in developing the Statistical Analysis Plan table shells.
6. Participate in review process of study documents such as the CRF, edit specifications written by Data Management, and Statistical Analysis Plans.

• Very strong SAS programming skills required, with proficiency in SAS/Base, SAS/Stat, SAS Macros and SAS/Graph version 8.2 and newer.
• Must be fluent in English. (oral and written)
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, statistics or other related, scientific field and a minimum of five years of relevant professional experience (or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience) is required.
