Desired Experience, Background and Skills:

>Must Have Extensive Storage and BackUp Software Development and Architecture Experience with knowledge and experience including, but not limited to: high availability, SAN, NAS, Disaster Recovery, the roles of security and virualization within SAN and NAS, fault tolerance, data protection, Storage and Back Up within Multi-Platform Environments and other related areas.

>Must Have Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills: Experience presenting complex ideas and solutions to (and fielding questions from) Senior and Executive Management is a plus.

>Experience Architecting, Modeling and Prototyping Storage and Back Up Software Solutions for presentation, approval and further development is a plus.

>Must have current and heavy coding and programming experience including, but not limited to: Core Java, XML, C, C++, Unix, Windows, Linux, Perl and Shell Scripting.

>Experience working closely with and communicating regularly with partners, alliances and vendors who are external to the company for information/idea sharing, joint project efforts, access to source code and more.

>Must Have Excellent Project Management Experience, strong time and importance prioritization experience is required.

Master's Degree Strongly Preferred, PhD is a plus.
