The Sr. Infrastructure Analyst will establishes best practices in process design, systems and metrics to support Supply Management strategy development and business decision-making. While utilizing Lean principles and methodologies, this role identifies plans, facilitates and manages process improvement project implementation activities. This role will lead the process for documenting business requirements on process changes or projects. The Sr. Infrastructure Analyst will partners with IT to manage the design, development, implementation, maintenance and support of Supply Management technology solutions. Manages all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned projects and provides a single point of contact for those projects. Additionally, this position will provide technical and analytical guidance to project teams in the solution development for complex problems. We will look for this role to facilitate initiatives creating a learning outcome that advances thinking in process improvement within the supply management function.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and drive complex process transformation and improvement projects within Supply Management to deliver significant operational improvement and/or cost savings utilizing lean methodologies. Ensure projects align with business priorities and strategies.
- Manage the gathering of business requirements and analysis of data/work flows and processes using value stream analysis and lean principles.
- Identifies new opportunities for leveraging technology. Assesses proposed initiatives by bringing a broad company perspective, engaging Supply Management expertise, engaging appropriate IT partners, and ensuring the completion of detailed cost/benefit analyses.
- Partners with IT to assure delivered systems meet business requirements and align with business and IT strategies. Provides analytical and technical expertise for on-going management of Supply Management systems.
- Provide leadership for change management. Identify process improvement education/training needs, manage training design and ensure execution.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and provide recommendations in process techniques and measurements. Responsible for continually improving key process metrics
- Use standard project methodology for maintenance of detailed project plans, meeting minutes, issues lists, action items lists, and other documentation.
· Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Business, IT, Supply Chain, Engineering or related field.
· Five years experience in supply chain and or facilitation/Ability to research and assess opportunities, proactively recommend changes and implement process changes to enhance effectiveness in a cross-functional environment.
