Primary responsibilities of position: We are looking for a CLARITY subject matter expert to leverage all the capabilities of the system in order to drive success with my client’s organization. Company: My client is a large stable technology company that is continuing to grow in this environment and has an excellent corporate culture. Detailed Job Description: This role involves installing the code and modifying the system according to how the business wants the tool configured/extended for use. Technical roles and skills - Data retrieval expertise using advanced SQL with advanced knowledge of the Clarity data model.-
- Architecture understanding – web infrastructure, database interface, java, middleware
- Defining jobs and creation of customized PL/SQL scheduled jobs
- XOG – ‘XML Open Gateway’ – and GEL to facilitate interfaces with external applications and for the upload of large volumes of data
- Maintain reporting server infrastructure – Actuate or Business Objects & Crystal Reports
- LDAP and SSO security interfaces
- Creating attributes, objects, lookups, portlets, and reports, including Actuate or Crystal report development.
- Testing and installation of CA fixpacks and new codebase versions.
- Clarity application startup and shutdown.
- Performance monitoring and improvements.
Required education/experience: - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field
- 2-4 years experience with CA Clarity. 6 or more years experience in information technology.
- Typically experienced across multiple Information Technology areas and all system / applications software development
- Serves as point of escalation for complex issues
- Responsible for developing and executing project plans, as well as coordinating groups of IT staff.
Compensation: Base salary: (neg. on exp) 120k-160k range
