HealthPlus of Michigan has an excellent opportunity for an individual to join our leading health insurance organization. This position is responsible for defining, coding, entry, and maintenance of AMISYS system configuration tables. Configuration areas include, but are not limited to: Benefits, Pricing, Security, and Authorization Requirements. Lead configuration team on various project phases including analyzing, developing, entering, testing, trouble-shooting, and documenting systems configuration to support benefit plans and provider contract arrangements. Maintain on-going communication with users in the use and maintenance of systems configuration. Consult with users in defining and prioritizing their systems configuration needs and project requests. Act as a resource for the configuration staff, providing documentation, training, and consulting as needed.
The successful candidate must have an Associate’s degree in Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, or Business Administration, or other relevant disciplines; or equivalent healthcare claims processing system configuration experience in lieu of degree. Equivalent experience is defined as minimum of two years experience in healthcare claims processing system configuration in addition to the following experience. Candidate must also have five years of healthcare claims processing systems.
