Job Description:



The Senior Systems Engineer II will be responsible for the management and leadership of a depot level repair organization for an advanced military program. The Repair Operations team is responsible for the refurbishment and upgrade of electronic systems and individual modules. Team responsibilities include process development, training, production planning, equipment procurement, delivery to schedule, and engineering support, while ensuring compliance to extensive rework, repair, and assembly requirements for prime hardware. Primary individual responsibilities include; Leadership of personnel, Policy development, Policy compliance, Cost management, Schedule management, Team performance, Effective communication, Ethical compliance, Personnel development, Training, and Staffing.



Other responsibilities include Performance reporting, Financial reporting, Proposal support, Risk management, Process implementation, Trend analysis, Corrective action development, and Process improvements.



This position requires frequent communication with high level customers through daily delivery status, routine reports, and periodic presentations.



Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience:



To be successful in this position requires the following:



* A minimum of 8 years of Manufacturing or Engineering Management experience.



* Must have a strong understanding of Manufacturing and Production principles.



* Demonstrated capability to lead a diverse team.



* Able to formulate, communicate, and implement organizational goals.



* The ability to foster collaboration between multiple companies working together in the same location.



* Able to affect integrated solutions that meet and exceed customer requirements.



* Possesses strong interpersonal and leadership skills with team building and mentoring capabilities.



* Candidate must be comfortable and effective interacting with senior company and customer personnel.



* Be proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, and Power Point).



* Must be able to obtain a US Secret security clearance.



Desired Knowledge, Skills and Experience:



Experience in Quality, Engineering, Material Procurement, Customer Service, MS Project, Information Technology, or Inertial Navigation systems desired. Existing Secret clearance preferred.



Required Education:



B.S. in Engineering, Science, or Mathematics
