Senior Tax Accountant position at a Long Island headquartered global company.  Responsibilities include preparation of federal, state and local corporate income tax returns.  Computation and preparation of quarterly federal and state estimated tax and annual extensions.  Assist with preparation of quarterly and annual tax provisions.  Review and prepare responses to notices from taxing authorities.  Assist with state audits, including preparation of responses to information documents requests and review of assessment reports.  Assist in research and planning and other special projects as deemed necessary.   

Basic qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent

4 + years corporate tax experience and/or public accounting experience

Knowledge of  FAS 109 and FIN 48

Preferred qualifications:

CPA and/or Master’s degree in Tax
