Position Summary

The Sr. Technical Analyst provides an entrepreneurial mix of platform agnostic technology consulting, project management, and client services. The Sr. Technical Analyst may provide individual engineering consulting to the client on projects that require no specific engineering code deliverables but deliverables that may include specific engineering recommendations to solve client business requirements.  In project areas where engineering recommendations move forward into a production environment, the Sr. Technical Analyst will work with Software, Interface, and Quality Assurance Analyst to ensure proper teams members are engaged to bring the engineering vision to life.

The Sr. Technical Analyst may serve as the liaison between engineering and the other disciplines on the project including creative, project management, account management, client and strategic services.

The Sr. Technical Analyst is responsible for working with the client and all their stakeholders in order to determine the requirements of the project. Typical duties include the authoring or co-authoring a project's engineering documents including requirements, functional specifications, technical specifications and quality assurance plans. The Sr. Technical Analyst is also responsible for developing estimates for all engineering tasks and sub-tasks, in consort with Analysts across all layers of the engineering team.  The Sr. Technical Analyst needs to have good interpersonal and communication skills and be able to translate technology for a non-technical audience.  The Sr. Technical Analyst role is a unique cross over role allowing for technical folks to move into technical management.

Education/Work Experience

• 3+ yrs overall experience preferred including:
  
  • 2+ yrs experience in turning client business requirements into conceptual architecture recommendations.


• Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent work experience.


• Project management and technical certifications a plus.


• Experience in the Professional Services industry is preferred.
