Summary:

The Senior Test Analyst works with the testing team to assist with the preparation of test plans and the testing of MetaVance software in accordance with company guidelines and standards.

Job Duties:

• Assist in the preparation of test plans, test cases, test scripts and test data identification based on business and functional requirements
• Ensure high quality and accuracy is maintained throughout the Testing Life Cycle
• Work with QTP Analyst/Developer to automate manual test scripts
• Assist in defect management process, requirement traceability and defect remediation.
• Provide feedback to the project team to ensure the work is carried out in accordance with the schedule and the quality requirements.
• Other duties as assigned by the Manager or Director

Required Skills:

• Very strong knowledge of structured testing methodology and process.
• 5+ years of overall QA and software testing experience with an understanding of Functional, Integration, System and Regression testing
• 2 + years experience in testing complex applications in the Healthcare/Insurance industry
• 2 + years experience in a Lead Tester role with strong understanding of the project life cycle.
• Proficient in manual testing and working experience with automation tools such as QTP 9.5 or higher
• Hands on experience using Test Management Software, Quality Center
• Experience in testing Windows Software Applications / Database applications produced using VB, C#, Access, SQL Server.
• Above average verbal and written communication skills
