JOB PURPOSE:
The Senior Training Manager positively influences the sales culture through delivery of training and continuous performance development of the Cincinnati Bell sales organization.
As new markets are launched, this position is responsible for design and delivery of programs that generate enthusiasm while contributing to revenue growth that exceeds expectations. The Senior Training Manager ensures that new hires have the sales training and performance development opportunities necessary to be successful. This includes development of learning programs for the sales process, telesales, prospecting skills, and funnel management.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Establish & facilitate & communicate a standardized sales training schedule and training calendar for each new market (25%)
- Develop a sales training curriculum and the associated materials to successfully address essential performance competencies for each sales role (30%)
- Deliver consultative selling skills to the OOT salesforce (15%)
- Support the Indirect Channels with the training needed to ensure their success (15%)
- Provide coaching and feedback regarding salesforce effectiveness (15%)
ATTENDANCE IS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION
EDUCATION:
Four years of College resulting in a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
EXPERIENCE/BACKGROUND:
6 to 7 years
PREVIOUS JOB EXPERIENCE:
- Sales experience
- Training experience
SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Telecommunications experience is strongly recommended
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
