Bestica is currently seeking a Sr. UX Designer for our Healthcare provider client in Cleveland, OH. The Sr. UX Designer will be responsible for the designing of external and intranet web sites, tools, and social media. Candidate must have experience as a usability expert.  You will be maintaining usability standards and methodologies as it relates to online capabilities for external users and for intranet sites. Coordinates the overall online UX process throughout the corporation. Provides workshops and training to BAs, Information Architects and IT, and serves as an evangelist of UX throughout the organization.

Responsibilities:
• Tasked with creating a clear and executable UX strategy for web and application design and serve as an evangelist for UX throughout the organization.
• Creates & maintains usability standards and methodology as it relates to Web Environment for the corporate enterprise. Help define user centered best practices into the product development process.
• Serve as an advocate for both the end users and the user experience designers.
• Conducts usability testing and assessments to provide recommendations for enhancements or modifications to the customer experience.
• Conduct yearly UX management reviews for assigned portals
• Provides expert reviews as needed, and will sign off on all designs for corporate projects for Web Environment.
• Analyzes customer segments and their information and functional needs in order to create personas.
• Ensures research (i.e. personas, card sorting research, etc.) tools are developed and consistently used to drive design where applicable.
• Identifies opportunities for improvements and propose ongoing changes to UX design processes.
• Develops and conducts training sessions on UX principals and design integration
• Stays current with UX trends and best practices through user groups and training/education.
• Experience in strategic web research and analysis including web analytics methodologies, competitive and industry analysis, surveys and market and/or user research.


Strategy:
• Manages and leads development of strategy and strategic recommendations working with business owners and IT team members. Scope includes Web Environment, marketing, search engine, and reporting needs. Includes identification of new capabilities, enhancements, redesigns, and usability.
• Conducts multiple methods of primary and secondary research including interviews with key stakeholders, observation, surveys, market research, web analytics, competitive and industry trend analysis, etc.
• Reviews and signs off on various application development deliverables associated with requirements, functional design, and usability. Expectation is that all these deliverables will be reviewed for all corporate projects that involve Web Environment
