International Aviation Fuel Distribution Company is seeking a

Regional Aviation Fuel Sales Manager

For the territory of

New York & New England Area (Conn.Mass., etc.)

 

Purpose

Market and sell jet fuel and aviation gasoline on behalf of the Company.  The primary customer is the Fixed Based Operator (FBO).  Yet, the customer base includes other fuel concessions, municipalities, end-users, corporate flight departments, and cargo companies. 

 

Essential Functions

·         Visit and build relationships with the existing customers and prospective customers

·         Network and support the existing customers with available programs

·         Increase Company’s and  branded FBO market share

·         Achieve annual sales volume and net income growth for the region

·         Perform preliminary field inspections as required

·         Manage engineering and technical support for the customer (fuel facility design, refuelers, fuel quality, etc.)

·         Provide superior customer service, integrity, and trust

·         Provide service flexibility and understanding of the customer’s business and unique requirements

·         Assure the new accounts are established accurately, completely and in a timely manner

·         Maintain an autonomous regional office, where necessary, to effectively service the region

·         Write and submit annual budgets and marketing plans for the region

·         Collect marketing intelligence and adjust marketing and sales efforts accordingly

·         Build relationships with airport managers, state agencies, and industry suppliers

·         Keep accurate and easy to audit records pertaining to customer database, and business expenses

·         Stay current with technical changes and continuing education when applicable

·         Travel as required

 

Non-Essential Functions

·         Attend company functions and meetings

·         Visit and build relationships with Customer’s

·         Participate in special programs, including but not limited to Trade Shows, Company Seminars, demonstration programs, etc.

·         Perform other duties as assigned

 

Minimum Qualifications

·         An undergraduate degree preferred

·         A minimum of five years of experience in a related field preferred or excellent outside sales experience.

·         Licensed pilot and aviation experience a plus but not required

·         Computer experience and knowledge using Microsoft Office software (or equal) programs

·         Willingness to spend a considerable amount of time “on the road”

Must be based in territory
