Bestica is currently seeking a Sr. Designer. This role will be responsible for the development, and direction of creative deliverables for the projects they are assigned to. For this role you will be working hand and hand with the Creative Director. The Sr. Designer will ensure that the design team and other production specialists (developers, editors, etc) are successful in: developing concepts, implementing design strategies, and producing interactive and brand-design solutions. He or she will balance creative thinking, interpersonal skills, and client expectations to successfully translate concepts into functional design deliverables.

Qualifications

• Qualified candidates must have at least 5 years experience with interactive media design, and possess the following characteristics:
• Must be wildly creative and obsessively meticulous
• Must understand user behavior as it relates to design
• Exceptional design talents with stylistic breadth that demonstrates sensitivity to diverse subject matter from product interaction to software tools and applications to the web.
• Superb information design abilities, fastidious and efficient production and optimization habits, and impeccable problem solving skills.
• Command of leading design software, e.g. Illustrator, Flash and PhotoShop
• Intimate knowledge of HTML, understanding how comps translate to code
• A portfolio of strong brand work, elegant visual communication, and good stylistic breadth
• Passionate about latest trends in visual design across a variety of mediums with a strong desire for innovation
• Ability to ask appropriate questions and communicate effectively and persuasively to convey solutions both internally and to the client
• Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical, written, problem solving and communication skills
• Self-motivated and self-managing and able to work independently
• Comfortable with following direction and able to balance great design with meeting short deadlines.
• Comfortable working with tight deadlines and multiple projects in parallel
• Agency experience is ideal
