POSITION:  Senior Waste Services Engineer

REGION: Midwest Environment

LOCATION: Collinsville, IL

RESPONSIBILITIES



 Individual will perform business development, project management and design of landfill related projects.  Technical issues may include site selection, site design and permitting, development or review of the following: construction bid documents, closure plans, alternative final cover plans, geotechnical design, leachate management systems, landfill gas management systems, surface water control, and geomembrane liner systems for landfills. Experience with recycling facilities, transfer stations, and mining would be beneficial.



QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in  solid waste landfill related projects.


• BS in Civil / Environmental / Geotechnical Engineering or a related field.


• Project management and design experience in landfills, transfer stations, recycling facilities and mining are preferred.


• PE registration in MO and IL required.


• Strong written and verbal communications skills are necessary.
