We are looking for a Senior Web Development Manager, capable of decisive, hands-on adaptability. This position will require extensive coding knowledge as well as exceptional project management experience and skill. Troubleshooting, exceptional communication skills, and attention to detail are a must in this position - as well as a good sense of humor and the ability to find a relaxed working environment productive yet fun.

Responsibilities

The selected candidate will coordinate with the design team to develop and maintain project schedules and plans, as well as develop full cost estimates of projects, including labor and direct/indirect costs. The candidate will be expected to lead customer meetings and maintain customer relations, including status reporting and informal communications, effectively with a diverse, non-technical audience. The ability to work independently and to self-direct priorities and workflow are paramount to a successful candidate, as well as a strong drive and ability to meet or exceed established deadlines and budgets. The candidate will be expected to deliver multiple, simultaneous projects that span across several business or technology areas while adapting to changes in priorities and scope. While this position will require one to wear many hats, it is a unique and rewarding opportunity to work hands-on and experience a lively, creative, progressive, and productive workplace.

Skills

-Strong written and verbal communication skills including the ability to communicate technical issues to a diverse, non-technical audience
-5-8 years of web development, including expertise in:

·         HTML,DHTML, CSS, AJAX, JavaScript, Flash, Flex, ColdFusion, SQL

·         Database Architecture and Functionality - Data modeling, database optimization, understanding and implementation of schemas, and the ability to interpret and write complex SQL queries - table design, constraints, indexes (tables & views), triggers, login/user security modeling, information architecture

·         Content Management Systems

·         Extensive testing and QA

·         Knowledge in Photoshop and Illustrator are a plus
