Yardley, PA - We are seeking an experienced medical editor to manage the day-to-day activities and content creation for our animal health web site Vetlearn.com, which is part of MediMedia Animal Health.
The Senior Web Editor must be able to prepare and tailor content to a variety of audiences, including veterinarians, veterinary staff, and clients/pet owners. Material will be created from content that will often require some degree of interpretation from the original material, which may have been intended for a different audience.
Responsibilities include:
' Creating and repurposing content for Web delivery.
' Reorganizing and formatting content as needed for the architecture of Web sites and effective interactive communications.
' Coordinating the efforts of internal and freelance designers/writers/editors.
' Working with a variety of content management systems and methods.
' Serving as liaison for veterinary experts and industry clients.
Experience required:
' BA/BS degree and 5+ years experience as a medical or science editor.
' Competent user of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
' Photoshop experience.
' Strong knowledge of HTML.
' Experience with Web site development and database management.
' Ability to interact with clients.
