Description:

Our client is seeking a Senior Web Engineer to join their growing team in Charlotte. The ideal candidate will act in a high-level technical role by consulting with client and IT management in the resolution of highly complex, technical problems involving creation of Web sites and e-commerce applications and their integration into the bank's existing computer systems.

The candidate will upgrade and maintain the systems that employ scalable, advanced technologies and methods to integrate Web systems with existing systems, enabling the creation of new Web enterprises or expanding existing business onto the Web.

This is a long term contract opportunity that is slated to last 6-18 months.



Requirements:
The following are all required:

3-5 years experience as a Web Engineer using BEA Weblogic 8/9/10

3 + years supporting J2EE Applications and middleware on Unix/linux platforms.

Experience with SunOne Web Servers, Wily Intrascope, and Siteminder Netegrity.


Strong WebLogic Administration with expertise in Installation, Configuration, Tuning, and Deploying applications.

Experience in configuring WebLogic Servers in a Cluster solution for High Availability, Load balancing and fail over support.

Knowledge of Web Security tools- LDAP Server, SSL Certificates. Experience in profiling Java applications using tools such as; Jprobe, OptimizeIT, etc.

Expertise in WLST, Jython and ANT scripting to automate and monitor the WebLogic routine tasks.

Monitoring Tools experience such as Introscope, HP OPENVIEW, BMC Patrol.

Experience with https servers such as Iplanet, Sunone, Apache.

Prefer experience with Oracle Portal, not required.
