Uline, a leading international distributor of packaging & industrial supplies, seeks a Senior WebSphere / AIX Administrator for their Satellite Office in Gurnee, Illinois (north of Chicago).
Corporate Office is moving to Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin (Kenosha County) - Summer, 2010.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES / REQUIREMENTS:

Manage WebSphere installations, modifications, performance management & configuration

Act as code & build manager for WebSphere applications

Manage interactions with members from internal & vendor organizations

Investigate & resolve application hosting issues

Develop application & operational processes needed to model, integrate, automate & manage efficient, flexible business processes

5+ years solid WebSphere System Management & Architecture experience managing 24/7 applications

In-depth experience with WebSphere 6.1 ND

Fluent with AIX, familiar with Unix, Linux, Solaris or other Unix type operating systems

Advanced experience analyzing & implementing procedures to improve system & application efficiency

Ability to automate manual procedures utilizing shell scripting, JACL & Jython

WebSphere 6.1 certification preferred
