Responsibilities:

• Observe system management consoles, interpret monitoring alerts, create, respond to and service tickets, and escalate outages according to corporate guidelines.
• Support Active Directory and Exchange services.
• Must have in-depth and strong working knowledge of networking concepts, MS SQL 2000, MS Clustering, Windows IIS, web technologies and system security.
• Must have performed migrations from Windows NT/2000 to Windows 2003 domains. Must have performed migrations from Exchange 5.5 to Exchange 2003.
• Fundamental understanding of an operating system; for example, scheduling tasks, exposure to backup software.
• Comfortable with most aspects of operating system administration; for example, configuration of mail systems, system installation and configuration, printer systems, fundamentals of security, installing third-party software, concepts of DNS, DHCP, etc.

Qualifications:

• Ability to work in a fast paced environment with emphasis on customer satisfaction.
• Experience working with a ticketing system, tracking work done in hours and completing work according to set schedules
• Candidates must have 5-7 years of experience in a mid to large sized corporation as a senior member/team leader in systems administration, MS Active Directory and MS Exchange design.
• 4 year College degree, preferably a B.S in a technical science or equivalent experience.
• Windows 2003, Exchange 2003, MS Active Directory, MS SQL, MS Clustering, IIS, Unix/Linux, Perl, Lotus Notes
