Project
The Senior Wireless Solution Architect creates end to end architecture solutions in support of new network technology and/or wireless data product launches. The wireless products leveraging network solutions we design may include netbooks, PDAs, Smartphones, Consumer Electronic devices, etc. The individual will be responsible for leading the end to end architecture development efforts involving Voice, Data and Messaging core elements, as well as device certification and IT billing/provisioning interdependencies. Key responsibility areas include the following: Documenting high level architecture and detail architecture documents, documenting a lab plan, leading efforts to aligning engineering teams, developing forecasts, cost estimates, and documenting call flows. Key responsibility areas include the following: Develop high level and detail service architectures to meet business and technical requirements. Produce detailed documentation of all high level and detail architectures including message flows, network traffic forecasts and cost estimates. Develop lab test plans. Lead efforts to align engineering teams.

Requirements
The candidate must have a Bachelor's degree or Advanced degree in Computer Science Engineering or related Engineering disciplines or equivalent, plus 8+ years IP and Wireless Networks experiences; Candidate must have a good understanding of multiple technology architecture solutions, frameworks and best practices; Candidate shall use advanced engineeringprinciples to address platform level technical problems or issues of extremely complex scope. The candidate shall have a strong background in several of the following areas: -Experience with service architecture development for mobile data networks -Experience with IP networking practices -Experience with 3GPP and ITF standards. -Experience with OMA and W3C standards highly desirable. -Experience with leading inter-departmental negotiations, consensus building to reach common technical solutions. -Experience with managing large system/application specifications, development, and test activities. -Experience with proof-of-concept system design, prototyping and large scale system integration in live production environment. The candidate must have strong analytical, written, verbal and presentation skills. Must have the ability to articulate technical issues to cross functional teams fostering awareness and understanding of proposed system design implementations and integrations. The individual must be able to work and adapt changes in a dynamic, fast paced work environment, and must be a team player.
