Requirements

          Minimum of 7 years of hardware experience with digital and

analog design.

Analog circuit design.

Proficient with schematic design tools.

Proficient in overseeing mixed signal and high speed PWB layout by outside contractors.             

            Digital Design:

(1)    PC-based architecture; PCI Bus, DDR-2 memory, Bridges, Microprocessor, ARM, etc.

(2)    Video Frame grabbers and video compression engines, particularly TI Da Vinci based systems.

(3)    Familiarity with industry communications interfaces:  SCSI, USB, Firewire, RS-232, RS-422, RS-485.

Gate Array Design – extensive experience in programmable parts, using VHDL and experience with Verilog.  Parts include Altera, Xilinx and others.  Modelsim a plus.

 Analog Design:

(1)    Video and audio input-output and processing.

(2)    Understanding of video formats; NTSC, PAL, RGB, VGA, SMPTE-292M, HDMI and format conversion.

 The ability to obtain and maintain Secret level clearance

BS/MS in Electrical Engineering
