Seniorr Program Manager

Description:
Lockheed Martin is seeking a highly motivated Program Manager who will organize, direct, and manage the execution of an intelligence operations organization consisting of multiple intelligence community services programs with over $300M in total contract value, supporting the full spectrum of operational intelligence requirements. The position is located in Alexandria, VA and will be responsible for a portfolio of 18 contracts and 280 employees. The position requires an intimate knowledge of the multitude of customers including: Defense Intelligence Agency, The United States Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM), and the Transportation Security Agency (TSA), among others.

The candidate will have a strong understanding of program finance and business operations and will be responsible for achievement of mission critical milestones and contract performance on an ongoing basis. The candidate must be able to anticipate customer needs and formulate and propose solutions that are complex in nature. Responsibilities will include the development of and commitment to long range plans to achieve financial growth goals.

The Program Manager is frequently required to meet with Government management personnel, contractor managers, and federal client agency representatives. Formulates and reviews strategic plans and deliverable items, determines contract costs and ensures conformance with standards. Assigns, schedules, and reviews work of subordinates.

Individual must be capable of leading mission oriented campaigns to capture opportunities in targeted areas to include the identification, assessment, and development of business opportunities with new and existing customers. The successful candidate will develop campaign partnerships with other companies and Lockheed Martin organizations to improve competitiveness and expand capabilities. May be required to lead and manage campaign capture efforts on business opportunities.

Candidate must possess the ability to operate, manage, and communicate effectively, geographically separated from both management and the supporting workforce and with minimal guidance. The candidate should have demonstrated skills in the effective management and oversight of sub contractors and team members on specific contracts in both the United States and overseas. The candidate should possess a high degree of ethics, strong core values and an optimistic outlook, strong leadership, teamwork, and customer relations skills, exceptional oral and written communication and formal presentation skills, the ability to work independently with initiative, creativity and innovation, and demonstrated program management skills.

Candidate must successfully lead and manage the human resources of the organization to include delivery of performance assessments, salary administration, effective employee relations, direction of work assignments, employee development, staffing of positions, support of diversity initiatives, LM21 and employee safety.

Other responsibilities include contract performance and adherence to company and government policies and procedures, regulations and statues. Other duties and responsibilities will be assigned as required and as the mission dictates. Successful candidate may be subject to a pre-employment drug screen and background check prior to starting work.

Qualifications:
Requires a TS/SCI Clearance.

Significant intelligence community operations knowledge as well as background and experience in leading large scale services efforts, including management of classified services in a 24X7 operations environment.

Position requires demonstrated proficiencies in program management and in Microsoft Office products to include but not be limited to Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Individual must be capable of working under the pressure of strict deadlines on multiple tasks.

Overnight and/or international business travel may be required of this position to attend meetings, training, site/customer visits, etc. Willing to travel to forward and hazardous locations, including Afghanistan, Qatar and Iraq to monitor programs and build customer relationships. Must be willing to work long hours, occasionally in an austere environment.
