Summary:
Under the direction of the Service Manager, the Service Advisor effectively communicates with technicians to enable the shop to perform truck repairs and other service work producing high customer satisfaction, quality repairs and work in promised completion times.
Essential Responsibilities:
v Effective communication with customers relating to their job orders. Monitors job schedule and status of progress. Maintains current knowledge on job times, job pricing and flat rates.
v Processing of all service repair orders. Coordinate timely paperwork processing.
v Assisting with any warranty inquires.
v Assist Service Manager with special reports or work.
Qualifications:
v High school diploma or equivalent and five years or more of related truck experience.
v Advanced knowledge of Heavy Truck repair required.
v Intermediate Windows, Excel and Word computer skills required.
v Valid driver’s license required, CDL preferred.
v Dependable and reliable attendance required.
