SERVICE AGENT PART-TIME (CALL CENTER)

Telhio Credit Union is seeking Part-Time Service Agent to join its winning team. Service Agents are responsible for servicing the needs of the members and for services available through Telhio. Acting as a one-stop information source, the Service Agents will be required to accurately and efficiently open and close all type of accounts, process non cash transactions and assist the member in resolving account-related problems. A complete understanding of all Telhio accounts and services as well as strong member service skills are essential. Ability to maintain confidentiality of all member account information and activities is mandatory.

The available position is located in our Member Service Department at our East Columbus, Ohio location! We offer a business casual work environment, paid holidays, paid vacation, a 401(k), and paid incentives. Candidate must have good customer service skills, have previous call center experience and be able to cross sell products & services. Previous experience in a financial institution preferred. Candidates must be dependable, have good credit, be bondable, pass background and drug screening

Qualifications:
-Previous sales and banking experience desirable
-Effective communication skills (oral and written)
-Strong organizational skills to provide a high level of accuracy on all transactions
-Possess team ’attitude’ and professionalism
-The ability to operate the office machines needed to perform the job,
such as computer terminal and calculator/adding machine
-High School graduate or G.E.D.
-Must have good credit and be bondable
-Must be able to work every other Saturday from 9:00 AM -1:00 PM

Hours will be 11:30 AM - 6:00 PM Monday - Friday with rotating Saturday mornings 9:00 AM- 1:00 PM.

While performing the duties of this job, you will need to have good manual dexterity as well as speaking and hearing ability. This position requires sitting; some reaching; standing; some stooping or kneeling. The employee must occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds. It is expected that the employee will read, compile, compute and record   numerical and statistical data.
