Service Desk Agent-Framingham, MA

The Service Desk Agent is responsible for serving as the internal and external communication point for the Monitoring and Maintenance Operation.  Do you want to start your career in the exciting field of technology and customer service? You will be a part of an interactive, fun group at the Global Service Center where you will not only support our clients, but will receive support in a collaborative environment.
 
  • Required to drive service calls to a resolution (i.e. service is restored for the customer) using engineering staff, escalations, and dispatch of parts and/or resources where necessary, within strict time frames.

  • Opens and manages service calls, facilitates the transfer of calls between operational units, is the internal and external communication point for matters relating to service calls, manages escalations, customers expectations, and engineer interactions.

  • Identify a resolution or course of action with engineer, vendor and/or customer

  • Performs other duties as required and assigned.

 


  • A High school diploma or equivalent, and 4 years of related experience

  • Service Desk Agent will need troubleshooting skills ability to work through problems, scenarios, etc...,

  • Will need the ability to work with others and steer others to reach an agreed conclusion.  Must be comfortable working in an open space shared environment.

  • Must have good oral and written communication skills

  • Should be customer focused and have basic computer skills.
