Service Engineers (Electrical & Mechanical)
Service Engineers are responsible for providing technical support of wind turbine generator operations at facilities throughout North America. Activities will be in direct support of ongoing maintenance and service activities as well as project construction and commissioning activities. Specific responsibilities include:
· Review of wind turbine functional problems and technical support for ongoing construction, commissioning, maintenance, and service activities.
· Perform functional testing, diagnostics, and trouble shooting on wind turbine operational equipment.
· Electrical schematic as-built control.
· Facilitate Technical Change Instruction application and support local parts procurement to established specifications
· Provide training on focused elements of Wind Turbine Generator (WTG) operation.
· With Regional Lead’s supervision, perform Equipment Failure and Root Cause Analysis to identify equipment concerns

Travel Requirements: As a Service Engineer your area of responsibility will be an entire region (typically several states in size). Most days you will be on-site at a wind farm in your region (typically near your home office), so you can expect to be home a good number of nights per week. Occasionally (~25% of the time) you will be called to off-site projects in other regions for up to 1-2 weeks at a time.
Supervisory: Service Engineers have no initial supervisory responsibilities.
Requirements:
Due to an aggressive growth strategy for its Field Engineering team, we require candidates for these positions to have some field experience with the troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, and/or engineering design of wind turbine systems. Target levels of experience for a Service Engineer are:

Service Engineers: $62K - $75K base salary plus performance incentive bonus opportunities (up to 15%).
