Project Description
The engagement is to define, design and deploy the IT architecture and solution for the customer, based on information gathered from ******** IT Service Management methodology. Current solution model core components are: Service Manager, uCMDB with DDM and DDMA. Openview Performance Insight with DB Connector, Sitescope and NNM. Operations Manager, Performance Manager and Network Node Manager.
Skill Set and Experience:
Service Manager Consultant - familiar w/Base, Infrastructure, LAN/WAN Edge, Wan Core, MPLS, NNM, DB connector and Sitescope. Contribute to design, installation, configuration, integration and development of solution in lab. Work with engineering team to develop implementation strategy to customer production environment. Knowledge Transfer to ServiceManager support staff.
Job Duties:
Install, configure and integrate with in-depth hands on experience within 6-8 months.
Assist Software Specialists as they install and configure their components.
Understands ITIL Process groups and configuring Service Manager to meet customer defined needs
Team player
Articulate – can communicate with managers, support personnel as well as engineers
ITIL Certification highly desirable.
