Fleetmasters is currently seeking an experienced Service Manager to manage and grow our truck, auto, and 24/7 roadside service and towing business in Southeastern Ohio.   As a fleet solutions provider, we assist fleet operators of all types (municipalities, school districts, contractors, public utilities, and other miscellaneous private fleets) with products and services that enable them to maintain & operate their vehicles & equipment in a safe & efficient manner.   Located in Lancaster, Ohio, Fleetmasters has been doing business since 1990 and is currently in the process of expanding its facilities and overall service operations. 

We seek a fulltime, experienced truck/auto repair shop manager to manage and direct a full service staff, as well as all sales and service operations.   In this position you will be accountable for the overall P&L of a service shop and will have general management responsibilities.  Primary responsibilities will include coaching and developing staff, ensuring strong customer relations, customer satisfaction, and customer retention, as well as ensuring high quality work, safe work practices, and efficient operational procedures.  This position will have hiring/firing responsibilities.

To qualify for this position, you must meet the following requirements:

• Three or more years’ experience managing a diesel truck service and/or repair shop or related business


• Advanced knowledge of Heavy Truck repair


• Must be 18 years of age or older


• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent


• Must have a valid drivers license and a clean driving record


• Must be able to lift 25-50 pounds frequently; up to 75 pounds occasionally


• Must be able to successfully pass a drug and criminal background check


• Must be dependable

Additionally, we seek candidates with the following qualities:

• Experience developing estimates for repairs and maintenance (parts and labor)


• ASE Master Truck Certification and/or other specialized training


• Class A CDL


• Basic computer skills


• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organization skills


• Strong customer relation skills


• Demonstrated energy and enthusiasm on the job
