Luxury Automotive Dealer seeks experienced and motivated Service Manager
Job Purpose:
Ø Support and develop service operations, CSI, gross profit and expense controls in keeping with ethical business practices to return a bottom line net profit and exceed departmental budget expectations.
Primary Responsibilities:
Include but are not limited to:
Ø Hire, train, motivate, counsel and monitor the performance of all service department staff.
Ø Train the service sales staff to promote customer satisfaction
Ø Generate and continually strive to increase labor sales.
Ø Set individual and total shop sales objectives.
Ø Hire and train service advisors.
Ø Maintain daily sales and production records as prescribed by dealership management.
Ø Hire and maintain a technical production staff that can perform all types of maintenance work and mechanical repair on the products the dealership sells.
Ø Create and control budgets for personnel and other expenses normally administered by service management.
Ø Ensuring that the department meets all financial goals.
Ø Ensuring that the department adheres to all company-established and legal guidelines
Ø Understands and keeps abreast of and complies with federal, state and local regulations that may affect parts sales.
Ø Ability to work in a fast paced high volume department.
Ø Maintains a professional appearance and attitude.
Skills – Experience:
Ø ADP Experience
Ø Experience managing 20+ employees
Ø 5-10+ years experience
Education:
Ø College degree or equivalent experience
