Service & Repair Coordinator - Flower Mound
Seeking that right person to further develop our Service and Repair department. This is a new poistion in Flower Mound, Texas. The candiadate will have exceptional Customer Service and organizational skills. Attention to detail is a must along with the ability to communicate effectively via all channels. Knowledge and working experience with performing repairs to leather, plastic and aluminum products will be an asset. Computer skills required with experience using Excel, Word, Outlook and general office equipment is needed.

Service & Repair Coordinator

Through this unique position you would assist the Service & Repair Supervisor in providing our clients, dealers and end users with accurate information and advice about our products, the warranties and all repair services and costs available. This position requires hands on craftsmanship abilities to perform luggage repairs using small hand held and power tools.
Key Responsibilities:
· Answer, in person or on the phone, enquiries from customers and discuss type, quality and quantity of merchandise or services sought for purchase
· Contact and inform retail clients, end customers and dealers to discuss type, quality and quantity of services sought for
· Provide technical guidance and support on repairs to retail clients, end customers, dealers and service and repair centres
· Advise retail clients, end customers, dealers and service & repair centres on use and care of merchandise, and provide advice concerning specialized products or services
· Advise retail clients, end customers, dealers and service & repair centres on work required and performed
· Inspect new, used and returned products to determine the requirement for repair
· Repair or replace defective or worn out parts and components using hand, power or specially designed tools
· Inspect returned manufactured products for defects and conformance to specifications and company quality standards, visually and/or using instruments
· Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents, record shortages and reject damaged goods
· Test and adjust repaired products for proper functioning as per company standards
· Perform routine maintenance repairs on new, used and returned cases as needed
· Determine estimates for repair cost on new, used and returned products regarding both labour and material required
· Determine method of shipment and arrange shipping; prepare bills of lading, customs forms, invoices and other shipping documents manually or by computer for repaired or returned products
· Operate computerized inventory record keeping and re-ordering systems for internal and external tracking of the service & repair department needs, stock supplies and dealer requests
· Organize and keep records of warranty cards, client details and dealer reports regarding repairs & replacements
· Assembly and attach warranty cards, stickers and any other information required to repaired cases
· Load, unload and move materials either manually or with hand operated equipment
· Unpack, sort and repackage, code and route goods to appropriate service & repair department storage areas either manually or with hand operated equipment
· May perform other material handling activities such as counting, weighing, sorting, packing and unpacking for the service & repair department requirements
· Ensure that standards for safe working conditions are observed
· Responsible of daily cleaning of work areas and equipment

Requirements:
· Completion of High School diploma or equivalent education required
· Assembly line and/or machine operator experience is preferred
· Experience in repairs related to the product (luggage) an asset
· Mechanical background using hand and power tools a must
· Strong communication skills a must in all channels
· Experience with consumer relations and upscale products an asset
· Experience in related luggage sales an asset
· Experience as a machine operator or an assembler in manufacturing is an asset
· Attention to detail and quality would be a high personality trait standard
· Ability to work independently
Working Conditions:

Travel for training purposes to Canada or other may be required
