Service Technician- Fire Alarm/Security Systems 

What you will do  

Read and understand blueprints, diagrams and specifications.
Install, terminate, test and commission state-of-the-art fire alarm,
security, card access, CCTV, and communication systems. Utilize
test equipment to diagnose system and wiring faults. Responsible for
the execution of the project plan including equipment delivery and
interface with other trades to successfully complete projects while
exceeding customer's expectations. Ability to lead and mentor junior
installers. Ability to work independently and exercise judgment in line
with an established process. Solid understanding of customer
priorities. Considers customer satisfaction a critical objective. Strong and tactful communication skills required. Ability to operate safely
and promote a safety culture within the organization.




What we look for



• High School Diploma/GED  
• 2-5 years industry experience (preferably installing low voltage
• Valid Driver's License with good driving record
• Ability to transport equipment/tools up to 40 lbs. and climb
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work an on-call schedule and overtime or alternate
shifts as needed
• Strong troubleshooting skills that include the use of a digital volt


• NICET Level II preferred
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification Successful candidate must obtain/maintain NICET Level I within the 

first year of employment and obtain NICET Level II within 2 years
