Service Technician II
Position Summary:
Supports field activities, analyzes, processes, and maintains player terminal inventory transactions within Dynamics GP
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Overall repair and maintenance of all VGT machines, servers and associated equipment.
· Cleans and performs preventive maintenance on VGT player terminals, VGT POS stations, routers, switches, and servers as needed.
· Troubleshoots, replaces and installs parts on all VGT gaming machines in accordance with gaming regulations.
· Follows all VGT and Casino policies and procedures for equipment operations and repair.
· Produces daily and weekly reports for time, mileage, inventory and makes entries daily in VGT’s maintenance tracking program.
· Performs other duties as assigned
· Follows all VGT policies and procedures as outlined in the VGT handbook.
· Associates will be required to apply for and obtain gaming license for the various tribes and casinos within and possibly outside of their home districts.
Knowledge/Skills Required:
· Minimum of one year basic electronics skills
· Ability to use and understand electronic measuring devices such as Digital Multimeters and Network Cable Testers.
· Computer skills to include, troubleshooting, component installation / repair and networking basics.
Education, Training and Experience:
· High School diploma or equivalent
· Trade school certification for PC hardware preferred
· One to two years of experience servicing computers, or gaming equipment maintenance experience.
· Basic skills in Microsoft operating systems and programs i.e. Windows XP, 2003 Server, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.

· Associates performing the duties of this position are regularly required to stand; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms;’ talk and hear.
· Associates are frequently required to walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and drive or ride in vehicles, they are also occasionally required to sit, climb, or balance.
· Associates must be able to lift, move and control fifty (50) pounds, with the aid of dollies and tools; able to lift and move forty (40) pounds short distances without mechanical aid and frequently lift and or move ten (10) pounds.
· Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception, the ability to perceive differences between colors and to focus.
