For over 100 years, members have trusted AAA for their Automotive, Travel and Insurance needs.  Our Emergency Road Service Fleet, based in Chicago, is seeking Service Vehicle Operators/Tow Truck Operators.

Our Service Vehicle Operators uphold our tradition of quality service and provide Emergency Road Service to members and non-members, including battery boost, tire changes, lock-out and towing services. We operate a 24-hour operation and employees may be assigned schedules, which include hours on both 1^st and/or 2^nd shift.

We are looking for experienced drivers with:

• Knowledge of automotive repair and service techniques
• Knowledge of towing procedures and practices
• Excellent customer service skills
• Good driving record and valid Illinois/Indiana Class C non CDL Drivers License or ability to obtain permit prior to start.
• Previous experience operating a tow truck a plus.
• ASE Certifications (A6 or A8) or ASE Master Tech Certification preferred.
• Willingness to work mandatory overtime due to severe and/or extended weather conditions and/or severe staffing shortages.
• For insurance purposes candidates must be at least 21 years of age.
