Current Need


The overall responsibility is to lead the Clinical Services Release Readiness program and develop, maintain and improve the supporting methodology. This position will be responsible for designing, coordinating, maintaining and deployment of the supporting methodology, tools and processes. The role encompasses working cross-functionally with services business groups, development and product management teams to develop detail project plans for readying the services organization to deploy new releases to our customer base. The scope typically will include project managing a matrix team to develop training programs and training artifacts in support of readiness; development of all services tools, artifacts and templates; communications to senior management as well as field implementation teams; oversight and coordination across pilot sites and early adopter sites; internal environment set-ups for training and testing; management to general availability (GA) requirements and deadlines.  This position can be based in Westminster, CO, Alpharetta, GA or remote. 

Position Description


Responsible for all aspects of the development/implementation of a systems project or program involving department or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of a computer-based system from the design process through a finished state for internal/external customers. Provides a single point of contact for projects. Takes projects from original concept through final implementation. Interfaces with all areas affected by the project including end users, computer services, and client services. Defines project scope and objectives. Oversees/coordinates all aspects of project and serves as project manager between clients, systems, line management and other departments. Plans and directs schedules as well as project budgets. Monitors the product/program/project from initiation through delivery, interfacing with customer on technical and non-technical matters. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals. Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, budgets, and status reports. Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project deliverables. Manages the integration of vendor tasks, and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables. May provide technical/analytical guidance to project team. Recommends/takes action to direct the analysis of and solution to problems.

Additional Knowledge & Skills


This role is responsible for all aspects of managing release readiness program for a large services organization.

*Provides leadership and direction to team members assigned within the service matrix, and process.

*Assesses training and certification strategy, programs and metrics, creating solutions and implementing as appropriate based on needs analysis of the role based training needs.

*Oversees the high-level structure, strategy, design, development, and customization of services GA methodology and requirements.

*Manage and Monitor the overall program effectiveness.

*Foster strong working partnerships with various cross functional teams to ensure quality deliverables and deadlines are met.

*Ability to gain commitment and acceptance for communications, strategic messaging and timelines at the organizational level.

*Candidate should possess end to end project management skills moving concepts through design, development, implementation and continual improvement.

*Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills; be self-directed and solution-oriented.

*Attention to detail and ability to manage with tight deadlines, ambiguous information and dynamic situations.

*Skills to coordinate multiple resources across the organization and prioritize competing activities.

*Must have strong understanding of large scale software GA release and deployment methodologies.

*Working knowledge of Horizon Clinicals organization and services model preferred.


Minimum Requirements


* 5+ years program management and/or project management experience

* Prior experience project managing IT software deployment and GA programs

* Experience and familiarity with IT professional services business


Education


BS in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering or Business

PMP certification strongly preferred
