Position Summary:
Be a key member of the Kronos services organization responsible for increasing services revenue by consulting directly with our customer base. Work with customers to help develop and execute service solutions through various lead generation channels. Lead generation channels include global support engineers, field sales reps, field service reps, direct marketing campaigns, and other special programs. Use thorough knowledge of the services portfolio to position offerings to meet customer needs and determine overall account penetration strategy - all resulting in the meeting of assigned goals.
Principal Responsibilities:
Work with customers as an experienced consulting professional who has a solid understanding of solutions and industry best practices
Provide direction and specialist knowledge in applying the services portfolio offerings to customer business requirements
Serve as the subject matter expert on business case development and justification and facilitate that business case across multiple groups at both the customer and Kronos
Identify opportunities for the Kronos services portfolio within the customer base
Perform varied tasks that need independent judgment in order to implement and position Kronos services to meet customer needs
Identify needs and validate potential strategic and tangible benefits of Kronos service solutions for customers resulting in the building of an opportunity pipeline
Present recommendations/proposals to customers
Execute effective campaigns in reaching key customer contacts about the benefits of Kronos services
Integrate with both field sales and service reps to develop account strategy.
Responsible for meeting or exceeding departmental goals
Responsible for following up on all lead generation activity to uncover sales opportunity
Responsible for maintaining complete and accurate records in the opportunity management database
Responsible for reporting to management daily or weekly activity in a standard preset format and for maintaining a closed loop process with management on activities generated
Responsible for forecasting all opportunities based on Kronos sales model and opportunity management definitions
Provide feedback to marketing on quality of opportunities obtained through various marketing/sales vehicles
Exemplary communication skills and good business judgment
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years experience working in the services, business development, sales or consulting division of a service solutions provider organization.
Effective sales, marketing, and project management skills along with an entrepreneurial spirit.
Drive, motivation, and previous experience in the high-tech services sector
Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels including C-level, executive, managerial, and technical audiences.
Prior experience establishing account presence and building trust with key contacts.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Software industry experience required. Enterprise applications knowledge a plus.
Understand the current services portfolio to properly position offerings to both the individual customer and the customer organization overall.
Ability to manage own time efficiently to reach goals
Motivated, well organized and detail-oriented
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in the services, consulting high tech environment.
