Description
 
The Manager will direct, coordinate and evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls in the Servicing and Default Division. He/she will lead the resources in the Integrated Risk business. These activities include the establishment and monitoring of controls and testing, serving as an early warning indicator, development of remediation plans, and on-going tracking of business imperatives.  Functions of the position include:
·        Maintain a control environment that is regulatory compliant and minimizes risk via appropriate testing inventories, governance and constant analysis.
·        Provides leadership to effectively prepare and execute Control Self Assessments including semi-annual scoring requirements. 
·        Partner with various business leaders to develop and execute risk strategy and appropriate remediation plans where failures or high risks have been identified.
·        Coordinate the establishment of site QA metrics to support both division and corporate requirements and prepare/present accurate and timely monthly reports. 
·        Directs and completes related projects including prioritization and acting as Executive Sponsor.
 
The Manager will have the responsibility for managing a group of 50-100 resources.  Budget excluding payroll projected to exceed 1M annually.  The individual will be responsible for conducting or overseeing a testing inventory to support 150 key risks which break down into over 1,000 test scripts.
 



·        10 years in risk, audit or related discipline
·        Extensive knowledge and experience in the mortgage and servicing space with an emphasis on regulatory controls is required
·        Applicants with formal audit accreditation or additional quality control training are preferred
-       Previous experience managing over 100 employees preferred
·       Candidates must demonstrate strong consultative skills and the ability to work in a fast paced/collaborative environment
·        Undergraduate Degree preferred
