Title Resource Group (TRG), a leading national full service title and escrow settlement services company, is currently seeking Settlement Coordinators for their Hunt Valley, Maryland location.  This position will be responsible for processing files for settlement and preparing the HUD-1 for settlement.  Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Review contracts to ensure that all applicable terms are reflected on HUD-1.
• Work with title review to resolve title issues.
• Confirm receipt of title abstract, survey and lien certificate — follow up when necessary.
• Confirm title premiums and recording fees.
• Prepare preliminary HUD-1 and forward to Agents, Lender/Broker.
• Obtaining all payoffs, liens, judgments, hoa/condo dues prior to settlement
• Working directly with agents, lenders, buyers, sellers and settlement officers to ensure a smooth settlement
• Contact lender for loan package, process loan package and balance file.
• Prepare final HUD-1, forward for approval as appropriate.
• Complete wire funding confirmation form, ensure approval of HUD-1, obtain funding number, and confirm receipt of lenders funds.
• Research customer inquiries and report findings to Supervisor.
• Prepare and assemble final package for Settlement Officer, print package or push to remote Settlement Officer Printer as required.

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of processing experience in Title Industry required.  Pre-Closing Settlement knowledge is preferred.  Word processing and database proficiency required. Outlook and Microsoft Word experience required.  Excellent verbal/written communication skills and customer service orientation are also required.  Knowledge of Maryland, Virginia and DC processing is preferred.  High school diploma or equivalent required.
