SharePoint Designer / Web Designer

Description

Seeking a full-time Web Designer. The candidate will work to design the presentation layer for public facing websites and applications. The right candidate is an apt multi-tasker that is able to juggle multiple priorities, has a strong skill set that includes visual design, and is able to effectively communicate the creative vision. 

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop innovative websites that utilize emerging web technologies

Develop graphics and maintain content for web and print marketing

Assist in the implementation and adherence to usability and accessibility standards

Work with customers and other staff to determine appropriate design

Assist with the development and execution of design standards

Desired Applications and Skills:

·         HTML 4 / 5

·         CSS 2 / 3  including Cross Browser CSS

·         Social Media Web 2.0

·         RSS/XML

·         JavaScript/ js frameworks such as jQuery

·         Adobe Creative Suite

·         Mobile or responsive design

·         Search Engine Optimization

·         Background in Content Management Systems such as Microsoft SharePoint helpful

Requirements:

·         Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience

·         Outstanding communications and public relations/presentation skills

·         Minimum of two years of related experience

·         Excellent customer service skills, including good verbal and written abilities

·         Strong organizational and prioritization skills

·         Maintain effective project schedules in accordance with established timelines

·         Self-motivated

·         Desire to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
