SharePoint Developer


A SharePoint Server expert is needed to provide configuration, implementation and development support to the IT team that is responsible for implementing SharePoint as the website hosting solution for a Longitudinal Data Warehouse system.
 
The SharePoint Developer will need the following skills:
 
Required Skills
·        Expert-level experience with Microsoft SharePoint 2007 and MOSS technologies with 3+ years of experience.
·        Demonstrable experience with .NET Framework to include .NET 3.5 and ASP.NET and C#.
·        Must have a solid understanding of the disciplines as they apply to the MOSS (Microsoft Office SharePoint Server) 2007 platform; users and permissions, layout and master pages, site definitions and templates, content types, web parts, policies, document and records management, dash-boarding and business intelligence.
·        Knowledgeable in most aspects of designing and constructing data architectures, operational data stores, data marts, enterprisewide data modeling and database design.
·        Able to define data/information architecture standards, policies and procedures for the organization, structure, attributes and nomenclature of data elements, and able to apply accepted data content standards to technology projects.
·        Must have experience with:
o       Reporting Services, Excel Services, Business Data Collection, and Data Connections
o       Enterprise Planning, Integration, Deployment and Configuration.
o       SharePoint Security (Custom Membership and Role Providers). Novell preferred.
o       SharePoint Development
o       SharePoint Administration (backup, restore, software patches etc.).
o       SharePoint application life cycle (test, production, source control, deployment, etc.).
o       Demonstrable experience developing Governance plans
o       Must be a self-starter.
o       Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, ability to handle diverse situations, multiple projects and rapidly changing priorities.
o       Ability to communicate with clients at all levels.
