Job Description
The SharePoint Sales professional to join our team will be responsible for locating SharePoint leads, presenting our SharePoint services and closing deals. The position is looking for a candidate that is a self starter and has strong software sales experience with SharePoint background either via usage or via prior sales experience in SharePoint. A full understanding of the Microsoft overall strategy for the SharePoint product is required. A consulting background is a plus with strong communication skills via written, verbal and presentation medium. The second requirement for the candidate is to have a k12 or higher education technology background. The position is selling SharePoint services to School District and higher education institutions or departments.
Roles and Responsibilities
· Deals and interacts with IT and top management executives that make purchasing decisions.
· Consult s with clients to determine high level needs and produce contracts and work orders.
· Develops business with unidirectional mind on selling SharePoint services to school districts and higher educational institutions.
· Makes sales calls and contact potential and existing customers.
· Personalizes all experiences with the customer and educate customers through detailed explanations and/or demonstrations.
· Identifies and qualifies sales prospects and prepare proposals.
· Utilizes and develops creative sales techniques that are catered to the school districts and higher education institutes.
· Remains updated on Microsoft’s SharePoint product knowledge and constantly seek opportunities to consistently learn.
· Maintains customer relationships after the sale and create a customer base.
· Keeps records of all interaction with customers, regardless of the outcome of a sale.
· Grow the SharePoint practice.
· Help the marketing folks market SharePoint products and services.
